This position will facilitate business process improvement, system enhancements, and support analysis as it relates to global engineering and quality systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have an IS background in supporting global engineering and quality related processes and systems. Key responsibilities of this position will include acting as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems while ensuring alignment to the enterprise goals, objectives, and center of excellence vision in terms of business process improvement. Reports directly to a Lead Business Analyst, this position will be located at the Cranes facility in Shady Grove, PA or Manitowoc, WI.Essential Job Functions• Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.• 'Responsible for the entire life cycle for highly complex projects including but not limited to: creation of project plans, research and analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and documentation - following IS standards and procedures.• Provide break / fix analysis of global engineering and quality systems• Act as liaison between Engineering, Quality and Information Systems departments.• Provide Engineering/Quality guidance and direction in accordance with IS policies, procedures, concepts and standards.• Provide Engineering/Quality guidance and technical assistance with software licensing• Demonstrate integrity, commitment to stakeholders, and a passion for excellence.Job Requirements/Working Conditions• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or Management of Information systems and 5-7 years of information technology experience is required. A minimum of 9 years of information technology experience would be considered in lieu of the degree.• Solid understanding of engineering and quality improvement concepts.• Experience working with PTC products, including Pro-E and PDMLink is preferred.• Experience working with Solidworks, AutoCad, aPrior, Cadra, and Ideas a plus.• Solid business analysis/process and design.• Experience working in or supporting Engineering and Quality functions required.• Strong business acumen and project management skills.• Strong analytical, listening, interpersonal and problem solving skills.• Proven experience in customer relationship management.• Thorough understanding of technology/concepts and its application to engineering and quality processes.• Highly effective and concise written and verbal communication skills. Summarizes/paraphrases both sides of issues.
