Quality Manager

Details: Our client is a global leader in the manufacture of consumer personal healthcare care products. Due to their continued growth we a seeking an experienced Quality Manager for their central Delaware manufacturing facility.  Reporting to the Global Director of Quality this individual will be responsible for the following:  Establishing, implementing, and directing quality efforts and procedures to ensure components and other materials used to manufacture finished goods and products conform to quality standards. Establishes and maintains quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls. Works directly with manufacturing to schedule and control inspection activities and to enforce regulatory requirements. Make use of SPC and root-cause-analysis to ensure a high quality process and product    Monitors trends and reports quality metrics to executive management. Manages and supervise direct reports and staff  Works with Operations and R&D to develop long-term business strategies.  Develops departmental objectives and manages projects.  Works with research and development during new product start-ups and establishes checkpoints for testing new products and processes.  Actively participates in design reviews and selection of new suppliers/vendors.  Initiates corrective and preventative action for procedural product process deficiencies.  Ensure regulatory compliance by monitoring and tracking quality-system effectiveness.  Manages quality for entire business unit Value Stream.  Manages departmental budget.  Initiates corrective and preventative action for procedural, product or process deficiencies.
