The selected candidate will be accountable for the overall quality assurance and improvement of assigned production line manufacturing processes. Position Profile:The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet Schneider quality requirements and for minimizing the risk and impact to our business and customers of manufacturing quality issues.To achieve this, the following duties and responsibilities are required: Analyzes data (such as defect rate and Field Failure Rate) and drives and prioritizes improvements to manufacturing based on the analysis results Develops quality control plans for existing and new products Performs advanced process root cause analysis, uses systematic methodology for problem solving. Drives and facilitates six sigma projects in designated process area Functions as quality approval on the implementation of process change Shares in accountability for process area performance Acts as quality escalation and mentorship for process teams/quality technicians & inspectors Deploys and monitors appropriate quality indicators in their process areas Drives and contributes to continuous improvement initiativesSkills required: 3 to 4 years Manufacturing / Quality experience Quality, Process, Industrial, Mechanical or other engineering background Exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinker Ability to use quality and problem solving tools and techniques including FMEA, 8D, 5 why, Fish bone, DMAIC, SPC, etc. Familiarity and/or experience with lean manufacturing concepts and ISO 9001 Innovative with excellent judgment and problem solving skills Quality oriented, keen understanding of manufacturing processes and technical knowledge Interpersonal savvy; superior teamwork skills, conflict management/composure and negotiating skills Superior communication and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously. Proactive with strong organizational skills. Takes the initiative & follows-up Strong computer skillsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with experience in manufacturing or industrial quality or the equivalent years of service experience preferred.Care.
