These activities are accomplished within the framework of ISO 9001 and the CMCO Lean Business System. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Formulate and maintain the QIP for Charlotte area Operations. · Measure delivered quality and warranty performance and ensure proper actions are taking place to prevent reoccurrence. · Analyze current products and processes and implement actions to prevent non-conformance. Recommend product and process changes to eliminate waste. · Directly supervise a staff of 6 technicians and 2 engineers · Lead activities related to maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 system · Perform all standard work as defined by the CMCO Lean Business System SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages Service Department, Quality Engineers and Technicians. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
