Details: ettain group has an immediate opening for a Sr. Software Quality Assurance Analyst in Arlington, TX. This is a 6 month Contract to Hire position. Must be able to work on a w2 through ettain group (no third party vendors). Description: The Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst II should have experience with manual, automated, and performance testing. In this role you will execute manual test cases, automated scripts, load/performance scenarios, identify bugs, and provide QA status to project team members and management. You must have very strong technical skills and experience with QA test methodology. Job Responsibilities:• Provide guidance and mentor junior analysts as needed• Create test plans and summaries as needed• Help define automation and load test frameworks for the organization based on development methodology and infrastructure for both the health & educaton products• Create and maintain manual test cases, automation test scripts, and load scenarios • Participate in reviews of product requirements and design reviews as needed• Provide feedback and analyze requirements and design as needed• Map functional requirements to test cases – for traceability• Execute manual test cases, automated scripts, and load scenarios as needed• Log and report bugs• QA Support for production deployment• Work with management to use latest technologies and QA methodologies to improve testing processes and implementation Required Skills:• 6+ years of hands-on experience testing in an environment where a complex web-based application is developed• Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Management Systems• Must be a self starter, require minimal supervision, cooperative, and have a great attitude• Must have excellent communication (verbal & written) skills and be able to communicate with all levels of staff including executives For immediate consideration, please apply online and follow up with a phone call to Dannon Mullé at (972) 258-0281.
