Our College for Certain culture ensures that currently, 94 percent of Perspectives seniors graduate on time, 94 percent enroll in college and after three years of tracking 76 percent are still enrolled in college– a success rate unequalled by most comparable schools.  General Statement of Job:Under general supervision, the data and testing coordinator will provide technical support to the Data Department in the areas of data management, test coordination and statistical analysis. The data analyst and testing coordinator is responsible for assisting with data collection from all kinds of resources, statistical analysis, and reporting; responding to data requests and questions from the central office staff and school staff; and assisting the Chief Academic officer on several projects. The data and testing coordinator must have strong analytical and organizations skills, and must ensure that data reports are accurate, relevant, and timely.   Core Duties Include:Data Management Maintain internal reporting documents for administration, board members, External Affairs (performance indicators, performance summary, score cards, etc…). Check the quality and accuracy of data collected both internally, by the district and by the state. Maintain organization of Assessment & Evaluation files on a shared-network drive and assessment and evaluation googlepages. Populate student score cards for schools on a quarterly basis. Monitor CPS-REA website for recently published data. Maintain a clean and accurate database of student assessment performance.Data Analysis and Reporting Provide analysis and report to schools each time new assessment data is available. Create succinct, easy-to-read and professional reports that communicate findings for various audiences. Work with team members in multiple departments to complete data summary reports to public and private funding agencies. Respond to data requests from staff, administrations, funders and other stakeholders. Analyze and summarize survey data for teachers, parents, and students.  Test Coordination Execute testing protocol associated with high stakes tests with precision and accuracy. Manage web-based and locally-run interim assessment software (staff support, assessment management, update class-roster files…). Relay relevant communications regarding school/city/state assessments to school staff and administration. Order materials for high-stakes state/national assessments (ISAT, PSAE…) Provide schools with support in coordinating internal and district/state high-stakes assessments. Train school test coordinators (relay relevant dates for CPS and ISBE test coordinator) and ensure integrity of testing environment and materials. Create and Update network assessment calendar as necessary.Professional Development Provide professional development for teachers and staff on assessment, data analysis, testing initiatives and products.Coordinate school and network PD evaluation implementation; summarize and report using web-based and other methods
