Quality Mgmt.Associate / Patient Advocate Liaison

Details: PRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS:•  Coordinates meetings; transcribe meetings and maintains up-to-date minute book for assigned meetings.•  Performs data collection functions for quality and performance improvement activities.•  Administrative support for Director- QM and Regulatory Compliance; support other managers as needed•  Word processing and distribution of Green Oaks policies and procedures•  Prepare and maintain paperwork required in connection with regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Center for Medicare and Medicaid   (CMS) and the Department of State Health Services (TDH)•  Assists with maintaining current manuals in paper or electronic format for TJC, Corporate Compliance and Green Oaks Policies and Procedures•  Provides administrative support back up for the CEO, CNO/COO and CFO.•  Functions as Patient Advocate liaison as required by the TDSHS and CMS•  Documents outcomes of grievance investigations and maintains records as required.•  Follows up with patients/families and others as needed of investigation results•  Provides updates to supervisors/CNO regarding critical issues and makes recommendations•  Provides information to staff and management regarding trends and issues•  Acts as a liaison with the TDSHS in reporting incidents and the TDSHS surveys•  Adheres to hospital policies and procedures•  Performs other duties as requested or required•  Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct•  Conduct reflects the Company's values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct
