Details: Specific Duties:Conduct moderately complex inspections of machinery and components utilizing various mathematical and instrumental inspection procedures and equipmentAdminister verification procedures for repairs and gauge controlIssue and receive instruments, parts, and tools through quality control crib area for inspection of parts produced by machine operatorsRead and interpret moderately complex blueprints, process sheets, and other written documentation including various technical references, and be familiar enough with geometric tolerancing to use reference materialComplete, distribute and file appropriate logs, checklists, documentation of test results and other paperworkRequirements and Qualifications:Minimum 3 years experience as an inspector of fabricated metal parts or as an industrial CNC machinist or CNC machine operator using mills and/or lathesMinimum 3 years experience with verification procedures for checking equipment, parts and jobs in and outMinimum 3 years experience using a CMM and comparator Able to read and interpret moderately complex blue prints, process sheets and other written documentationAble to use basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, and indicators.Familiar with geometric tolerancing sufficient enough to be able to use reference materialDemonstrate understanding of math including decimals, fractions, algebra and basic trigonometryDemonstrate mechanical aptitudeAbility to obtain a valid license to operate a forktruck and overhead crane, prefer previous experience operating a forktruck and overhead craneMust be willing to work overtime when needed
