Directs staff of QC Inspectors in execution of daily responsibilities for inspection of incoming materials and finished devices for tissue ablation, brain mapping and surgical headlamp systems. Develops Inspection procedures and identifies/procures proper test/inspection equipment to assure raw material, in process and finished product quality. Maintains/selects Integra supplier base through surveys, audits, process capability studies and ongoing interface and reporting. Performs supplier corrective actions as required per procedures. Supports new product development teams to assure product quality is achieved through proper design, testing and Engineering and Quality specifications. Addresses defect prevention through review of quality history, supplier base controls, scrap analysis, process control techniques and training. Supports Integra production to resolve/identify products relative to purchased raw material. Conducts timely investigations on suspect products returned to Integra through the Complaint process. Reviews/develops Engineering test/qualification protocols where required to assure product/design changes are properly validated prior to release. Acts as the Technical Specialist to Purchasing in supplier-related quality issues. Supports the Inspection group on inspection/training/equipment related issues. Communicates and carries Quality Engineering philosophy to other groups within Integra. Supports MRB activities through review of rejects and disposition of materials. Supports process validation activities at Integra. Assures compliance of Integra SOPs. Reviews Engineering Change Orders, as required. Performs process capability analysis and assists in design of experiment activities. Performs other duties and responsibilities, as required. Details: Client is seeking Clinical Quality Assurance Auditor in Exton, PA. This is a 6 month renewable contract role. In this position the incumbent shall support GCP audits of Phase I - III domestic and international clinical research trials to assure compliance with all applicable government regulations, federal guidelines, company standard operating procedures, and industry standards. Audits will be performed on external investigator sites, vendors/CROs, trial master files (TMFs), data/CRFs, and study reports for clinical trials conducted. Quality Assurance Supervisor

Details: Responsible for supporting the plant operations department in the area of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Food Safety. Develop and oversee implementation of food safety and monitoring programs. Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the plant Lab Department, management team and plant personnel by understanding regulatory, customer and internal Saputo quality requirements. Schedule and supervise Laboratory Technicians and all related job functions. Oversee quality assurance systems in order to satisfy internal and customer requirements to include process evaluation and product protection programs; process specifications and standards; sanitation programs, HACCP, GMP, Pest Control, in-line sampling programs, etc.; production labeling; and product storage and distribution. Oversee quality control systems to include hold programs and mock recalls; lab procedures; food safety programs; product functionality evaluations; process verification programs; internal and external audits, and environmental microbiological monitoring programs. Lead problem-solving efforts through the facilitation of team meetings and on-the-floor leadership to effectively influence positive change and continuous improvement. Review and maintain all quality control test results.  Evaluate analytical testing results and disposition of finished product to ensure customer specifications are met. Investigate, track and respond to customer complaints and returns. Develop and monitor standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as they pertain to lab and milk receiving positions and product quality. Conduct all quality training to include GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, etc. Monitor compliance to QA Standards Manual as assigned (i.e. Incoming Ingredient Program, etc.). Monitor and maintain the Positive Release Program. Update required reports as frequency requires (i.e. on product quality, environmental results, incident activities, etc.). Ensure certification of the lab by maintaining proper documentation as per all internal and governmental requirements (i.e. antibiotic records, equipment temperatures, water and air, proper sterilization records, etc.) Act as plant SQF practioner. Act a plant liaison for regulatory compliance agencies (i.e. WDA, USDA, FDA, etc.) and primary plant contact for third party customer/plant audits. Order and maintain the inventory of all lab supplies and submit monthly purchase requisitions as necessary. Assist in development of plant’s lab annual budget. Monitor and control costs in comparison to budgetary objectives. Administer the collective bargaining agreement, and company policies and procedures, with the assistance of Human Resources. Communicate and interact effectively with lab personnel, all departments, sister plants and all levels of management to ensure the smooth operation of the process. Communicate and interact frequently with the Corporate QA Team on implementation and maintenance of quality systems and programs, and proactively satisfy customer requirements. Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate and necessary.
