Principal Web Service Integration / Web Services Test Engineer/

Details: Tasks:• Collaborates with Product and Development teams to identify productand technical requirements. Reviews and verifies requirements anddesign specifications for validity in overall product design, with anemphasis towards product testability and verification.• Contributes to the development of Quality Assurance test philosophiesand methodologies. Identifies viable test strategies in order to supporttesting product functionality.• Reviews literature, patents, and current practices relevant to thesolution of assigned projects. Publishes detailed test strategies, testplans and test cases.• Develops test cases and detail test scenarios for Quality AssuranceEngineers and oversees their execution, tracking, and automation.Ensures proper execution of regression test procedures and automatedtest suites and scripts. Participates in design, code, and functionalproduct reviews to facilitate white-box test design.• Reviews project progress, evaluates results and recommends correctionsin technical applications and analysis.• Leads in the identification and resolution of problems and defects.Initiates investigation processes, identifies and reproduces bugs ordefects and drives issues and improvements to resolution.• Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Quality AssuranceEngineers. Provides technical leadership and consultation with regardsto practices, procedures and techniques.• Supports trials of new infrastructure designs/services.• Works with vendors to troubleshoot problems when necessary.• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in mattersof significance.• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to worknights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.The Challenge:The Principal Web Service Integration and Test Engineer/Manager: The primary responsibility for the individual is to work closely with development teams to integrate and test various web services to ensure that applications are functional, robust, stable, scalable, and operate with the highest level of reliability. The person will design, configure and run best-in-class integration and tests, collect and analyze test data, participate in development, architectural optimization, documentation, and review. This person will lead an onshore and offshore team to collaborate closely with development team. This person will be first and foremost technical expert, as well as an experienced team lead. The Task:• Be the technical expert in web services/applications architecture and systems. • Lead an integration and test team to collaborate closely with development to design and implement strategies and plans to ensure smooth and high quality deployment of releases into production. • Assist in procuring and analyzing the technical components present in the applications to validate and verify application's function, performance, and reliability. DIRECTOR OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

Its participants can be seen cleaning 150 miles of NYC streets and sidewalks each day in paid transitional jobs that represent the core of the program. With a $50 million budget, over 400 staff members and 46,000 individual donors, TDF is nationally acclaimed as a work-based model for solving homelessness and criminal recidivism. TDF is currently seeking a results driven individual to serve as Director of Supportive Services and Quality Assurance.  Reporting to the Executive Director of Programs, the Director of Supportive Services and Quality Assurance will be responsible for overseeing The Doe’s Fund’s supportive services and providing quality assurance throughout its programs.
