Details: Interest Category: Health & Safety / Homeland SecurityJob Description: Washington Demilitarization Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of URS Corporation is currently seeking a QA QC Technician / Inspector to be based in our Anniston, Al office.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / TASKS•Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.•Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.•May be required to work overtime or varying hours.•Work in close proximity to and/or in a chemical demilitarization facility.•Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.•Performance of all Quality Control functions at ANCDF.•Development of inspection and test methods and procedures.•Identification and documentation of nonconforming conditions in addition to follow-up verfication of correction actions.•Perform duties and assignments in a safe and cost effective manner.•Review and acceptance of test and inspection results for compliance to acceptance criteria based on ANCDF Engineering Specifications.•Perform QC Inspections and acceptance in accordance with ASNT-TC-1a Standards for testing and certified Welding Inspections iaw American Welding Society Code•Review Project Procedures and assess compliance with regulatory commitments.•Development of surveillance reports.•Interface with project operations personnel on Quality interpretations.•Develop Condition Reports to ensure corrective actions are identified and corrected•Perform receiving inspection of Chemical muntions•Track, trend and report quality data.•Review Work Orders for identification of Quality inspection requirements•Review interim changes in the absence of Quality Management on shift We invite you to take the next step towardTHE BEST WORK OF YOUR LIFE.
