QA Tester
Details: Job Description: The Tester I role is going to be focused on supporting 2 major customer facing retail banking applications. This individual will be required to develop and execute test cases for business acceptance testing for web applications, tools and content across multiple websites using multiple browsers and operating systems. Document test results, debug basic problems and report defects. They will be required to develop test cases to ensure cover defined scope, requirements and design of web applications, tools and content. Execute tests to ensure results achieve documented expected results from test cases. Capture test results, report progress and defects. The ideal candidate for this role should not have extensive testing experience. An individual with too much testing experience will find this role not challenging, as they will be given basic assignments to complete. The manager would also like less testing experience so they can come in with a customer facing perspective rather than one that has been solely focus on the back end portion of the application. The ideal candidate for this role will be motivated to learn and develop their testing skills further. There will be a lot of opportunity to learn and be mentored by sr. members of the team in this role as well. There is a strong possibility of being extended in this role. Candidates should have extremely strong written and verbal communication skills. They will need to be able to ask questions and absorb information quickly.
